Volt is seeking a skilled and dependable Fabricator candidate to join our dynamic team in Paso Robles, California. Our company is dedicated to providing top-quality services and we value individuals who are committed to excellence and teamwork

Job Duties:

  • Reading Blueprints and Schematics:
    • Fabricators meticulously study detailed schematics for complex machines. These blueprints guide them in understanding the assembly process.
  • Component Fabrication:
    • Using a combination of hand tools and power tools, Fabricators trim, cut, and fit components into the final product.
    • They may also engage in welding and soldering to join pieces together.
  • Alignment and Assembly:
    • Fabricators align various components and securely connect them using bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
    • Collaborative robots are sometimes employed to assist in producing and assembling these components.
  • Quality Control and Troubleshooting:
    • Fabricators inspect finished products to ensure quality and craftsmanship.
    • If any faulty components are identified in defective items, they work to rectify the issues.


  • Requirements:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding Blueprints and Schematics: Fabricators must be adept at reading detailed schematics for complex machines. This skill helps them comprehend the assembly process.
    • Hand Tools and Power Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential. Fabricators trim, cut, and fit components into the final product using these tools.
    • Welding and Soldering: Fabricators often engage in welding and soldering to join pieces together.
    • Quality Control: They inspect finished products to ensure quality and craftsmanship.
  • Education and Training:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Specialized Certification
  • Additional Qualities:
    • Attention to Detail: Fabricators need precision when aligning components and assembling products.
    • Good Dexterity: Skilled use of tools requires manual dexterity.
    • Organizational Skills: Managing materials and maintaining an organized workspace.
    • Eyesight and Color Vision: Clear vision is crucial for accurate work.
    • Positive Attitude and Self-Motivation: A proactive approach and accountability are valued.

    Pay: $20-$25

    Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
