<b>Job Description:</b><br><br> We are seeking a Field Service Technician for a very important client.<br><br>What will you do?<br><br>* Perform on-site repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of general laboratory equipment products such as incubators, centrifuges, ultra-low temp freezers, washers, etc.<br><br>* Will work in conjunction with the scheduling department to meet the needs of our customers.<br><br>* Provide on-site training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation.<br><br>* Arrange their own travel accommodations FSE will submit expense reports to receive reimbursement for travel costs.<br><br>* Maintain spare parts inventory.<br><br>* Maintaining open communication with local and internal teams to enable delivering improved service Document all reasonable actions regarding the scope of work on time.<br><br>* Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.<br><br><b>Requirement:</b><br><br>The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities.<br><br> Prior experience in Field Service and covering a large service area.<br><br>Experience<br><br>* Knowledge of test equipment is required-for example multi-meters, pressure sensors, mass flow controllers, or similar analog devices.<br><br>* Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with different priorities.<br><br>* Strong communication, great work ethic, great teammate, problem-solving skills, ability to balance multiple priorities, and a willingness to learn.<br><br>* Experienced at solving challenges and finding opportunities (Find a Better Way Every Day) with a sense of urgency, high energy, and passion.<br><br>* Strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service.<br><br>* Ability to operate computers, smartphones, and related software efficiently.<br><br>* Ability to work independently diagnosing and fixing with schematics, diagrams, service manuals, and other user documentation.<br><br>Work Environment<br><br>* Ability to drive frequently within the territory and travel overnight as required.<br><br>* Must be available to travel overnight up to 25% within the territory or other regions as needed.<br><br>* Ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance and carry 25-30 Lbs continuously throughout the day.<br><br>* Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and reach daily in a service function.<br><br>* Must have a valid driver's license and a well-maintained vehicle.<br>o FSE will submit mileage reports to receive reimbursement at the current IRS mileage rat<br>#PandoPandoLogic.
