BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician at Ohio.

Position Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Remote (ohio)

Anticipated Start Date: Tentative start Date 05/15/2024
Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 03+ months Contract with a strong possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]

Pay Range: $30/hr - $32/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

• Work will take place outside in closed toll lanes at toll plazas across the Ohio Turnpike.
• Provides first-level support for corrective issues. Troubleshoots hardware, software, electrical wiring, and/or network operating problems.
• Uses basic and specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze difficulties.
• Performs scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities including but not limited to; inspection, cleaning, testing, adjustment, replacement, and repair (to sub-assembly/component level) of computer systems, camera systems, microprocessor components, peripherals, and associated/designated toll processing and information management equipment.
• Maintains accurate and thorough work order documentation allowing for detailed reporting of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance of all tasks completed on system hardware, software, and related system components.
• Work Hours- 8:00-5:00.
