ECS is seeking a Finance Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Finance Manager to own rates and budgets. Management of a small professional staff, responsible for providing timely and accurate financial analysis and cost management of all indirect cost accounts associated with a $1B+ business. Develop and status Provisional Rates. Ownership of win rate calculations when applicable on key bids. Work across the organization to create a bottoms-up build of all indirect rates and budgets. Responsible for providing customer service to budget owners to achieve budget targets as well as negotiated rates including monthly actual vs budget analysis and mid-year updated rate submission.

Additionally, this role will have Corporate FP&A responsibilities inclusive of, but not limited to: Collaborate with functional business owners to summarize the "story behind the numbers" for variance reporting, proven track record of driving business process improvement, creation of overall company Annual Operating Plan (AOP), consolidate financial information and provide inputs to parent company.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years' experience with government contracting
  • Must have experience with a govcon publicly traded company
  • Must have experience with full CAS covered business and working with DCAA
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills;
  • Multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment;
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and dedication to the mission of ECS;
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, and comfortable with presenting to executive leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven culture

  • Expert level Excel functionality (power query, pivot tables, macros)
