Your new role
In your new role this position serves as a key interaction point for brokers responding to quote requests, general Structured Settlement related questions and providing support for unique case-based solutions. Collaboration with medical underwriting, sales, new business, operations, and Financial Controls units . Respond to broker requests for pricing commitment to be locked in and responded to in timely and accurate manner . Respond to broker requests to adjust quotes to reflect changes in premium or benefit amounts have been responded to in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing creative solutions where needed . Perform financial underwriting for all quotes outside of guidelines, or when daily quote requested, following product guidelines . Act as liaison between brokers and internal departments (i.e., Sales, Medical Underwriting, Administration) . Develop daily pricing rates for internal use by Rate Desk, gathering data from Bloomberg and updating Excel database of rates . Meet all audit and compliance review requirements and timeframes .

What you'll need to succeed
-3 years of experience in Finance background in an office setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook. Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access . Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks, producing high volumes of cost quotes within tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required through direct interaction with brokers, lawyers, plaintiffs, and other related parties . Good intuitive "business sense", understanding of theory of interest and present value calculations. Ability to function as a productive and cooperative member of a team to meet service standard goals in terms of deadline and content . Accuracy / attention to detail .
