RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing multi-plant manufacturer in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their corporate accounting team. There is an opportunity to grow into a senior analyst position in a short time frame. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities:- Month end close, including: closing AR, review of AR related accounts, and monthly AR related Journal Entries - with compliance of department goals and objectives
- Analyze financial data and provide key performance indicators
- Prepare reports and projections based on financials
- Monthly/weekly reporting, including AR Past due report, Day Sales Outstanding, reviews with sales team, and forecasting of receivables
- Monthly reconciliations
- Analyzing current and past trends in areas of product sales, margins, etc.
- Quarterly review of AR Aging and recommended changes to bad debt reserve
- Manual invoices, adjustments, and invoice corrections
- Working with other functions to solve root AR related issues & drive efficiency
- Set up new suppliers and customers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CMA or CPA preferred
- 1-3 years of Audit/Accounting experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
