Location: 100% Remote USA
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 base + bonus + equity
Full time direct hire
What You Will Be Doing - Work with finance and data engineering teams on portfolio analytics initiatives including structured finance reporting and valuation
- Work within the Data Science and Analytics team on the development and implementation of advance cash flow models at the asset level and for pools of assets
- Collaborate with finance, marketing, risk management, sales, and underwriting on progressive business improvement objectives
- Collaborate with data engineering to create data assets needed for specific projects and contribute to improving overall data quality and reliability
What You Need for this Position - A minimum of 2-3 years of experience involving data manipulation, reporting, and programming in a financial discipline is required
- Financial Engineering or Financial Mathematics training or skills required, but experience with bond cash flows is preferred
- An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields, is preferred
- A degree or coursework in Financial Engineering or Financial Mathematics is desirable
- Proficiency in basic statistical techniques is required, but with an aptitude and passion for learning advanced methods
- Proficiency in advanced programming languages is required, preferably Python, but possibly including Java, C++, JavaScript, R, Go, Rust, etc.
- Proficiency in SQL is required
- Basic proficiency in Excel required, advanced Excel and/or PowerBI experience is desirable
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and team collaboration skills
- Experience working in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Consumer Credit is desirable
