1. Demonstrates competence in the performance of Job Standards.
a. Follows job routine and completes all tasks.
b. Performs all tasks in a time sensitive manner and within scheduled hours.
c. Prepares and presents food according to quality standards.
d. Practices portion control.
e. Performs tasks according to accuracy standards, including cash handling procedures when appropriate.
f. Demonstrate excellent customer service by following the "We Care" model.
g. Follows written and verbal instructions.

2. Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to sanitation
a. Maintains all storage spaces, refrigerators and freezers as neat and organized.
b. Practices "Clean as you go."
c. Properly cleans and sanitizes all equipment used.
d. Practices proper dishwashing and potwashing procedures.
e. Incorporates cleaning into daily routine.
f. Completes cleaning projects as assigned.
g. Uses and stores cleaning products safely and properly.

3. Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to HACCP/Food Safety
a. Completes and updates HACCP training.
b. Observes and records temperature of refrigerators, freezers, dishmachine and pot sinks.
c. Ensures and records that food is cooked/served at minimal internal cooking/serving temperatures.
d. Rotates and discards food according to FIFO and prep date.
e. Practices time and temperature control in thawing and cooling.
f. Minimizes the potential for cross contamination.
g. Washes hands after every possible contamination
h. Uses disposable gloves for ready to eat foods and changes them according to policy.
i. Meets department standards of personal hygiene.

Qualifications
Experience Minimum Required
• None

Experience Preferred/Desired
• Over three months food service experience
• Customer service experience

Education Minimum Required
• Less than HS diploma; ability to read

Education Preferred/Desired
• High school

Special Skills Minimum Required
• Must be able to work quickly.
• Must have excellent customer service skills
