Forklift Operator - Full Time 1st Shift
No experience, no problem!
Free training and certification on site.


Must be able to work: Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:45pm.

Essential Functions : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and immediate report mechanical issues to maintenance.
  • Maintain the equipment battery by checking water levels and connecting to charging station.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
    Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare product for picking and shipping ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Move levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  • Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Load or unload product onto of off of pallets, skids or lifting devices.
  • Move materials from storage of work sites to designated area.
  • Operate RF scanner 90% of the time
  • Follow safety rules to maintain personal safety and the safety of others; including maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Operate equipment in a manner that is compliant with OSHA Standards.
  • Stock new boxes by box size on the pullers side of the line.
  • Maintain a minimum of 99.80% accuracy each week


Non-Essential Functions :
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.


Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of computerized inventory control system preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass an MVR

  • Must be able to hear operating equipment safety beeps and/or honking of operating equipment.
  • Must be able to stand up to 10 hours in a day.
  • Must be able to walk up to 10 hours.
  • Must have no fear of heights.
  • Will occasionally climb.
  • Will frequently bend, stoop, reach up and out, crouch, kneel and push/pull from 26 to 50 pounds.
  • Will frequently carry up to 25 - 50 pounds.
  • Will occasionally have repetitive foot movement.
  • Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation.
  • Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; and reaches with arms.
  • Employee must be able to wear protective equipment occasionally.


Language Skills :
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.


Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to calculate basic math (subtraction, multiplication and addition)


Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • The work performed is in a warehouse environment
  • The employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and dust and will be working around moving machinery
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
