Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates for Lecturer or Teaching positions must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree. Candidates for instructor, adjunct, research and clinical positions must have at least a Master's degree or equivalent degree and extensive professional experience.

The Department of Accountancy is recruiting non-tenure track faculty positions, which include clinical, lecturer, instructor, teaching, research, adjunct and visiting appointments (up to 100% for 9 months) for the 2023-2024 academic year.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Clinical Professors/Teaching Professors/Lecturers/Instructors/Research Assistants are expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels and engage in activities that maintain faculty qualifications under AACSB guidelines. This may include research for some positions.

Clinical faculty draw on specialized knowledge gained from professional practice. Responsibilities can include delivering an effective and engaging classroom experience, engaging in applied or experiential work that leverages specialized practices in fields the department deems relevant, and publicly engaging with current and potential partners on campus and within the larger business community. Candidates must have at least a masters or equivalent degree and extensive professional experience.

Research faculty design, implement and conduct experiments. Collect data and develop data collection procedures. Design, organize, and implement project database; analyze data. Candidates must have at least a masters or equivalent degree and extensive professional experience.

Teaching faculty deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience, publish on topics related to business pedagogy, and engage in related pedagogical activities so as to make both an instructional impact and a curricular impact within and beyond the department. Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree.

Lecturers deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience and support the department through service responsibilities. Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree.

Instructors deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience and support the department through service responsibilities. Candidates must have at least a master's degree or equivalent degree and some professional experience.

PROPOSED STARTING DATE: January 1, 2023 or August 16, 2023.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. Salary is commensurate with experience.
