Alteryx is seeking a Global Employment and Litigation Counsel to join the Legal Department, reporting to the Senior Director, Employment Law. You will be an integral member of the Legal team with an opportunity to grow and improve in the areas of employment, compliance, and litigation. You will work collaboratively across the organization, working primarily supporting the People & Culture and Finance teams, among other departments. Alteryx is looking for motivated individuals who can operate independently and are excited to develop and learn new skills. Individuals must be open-minded, flexible, and interesting in working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal and strategic business advice on sensitive employment and compliance issues, including, but not limited to recruiting; hiring; employee relations, including performance management and investigations; terminations; leaves of absence; works council; compensation and benefits; DEIB; and other employment-related matters.
  • Working knowledge of litigation from pre-dispute to post-dispute, in different forums and practice areas, including but not limited to, government agencies, arbitrations, and court, such that you may handle matters independently or with the support of outside counsel.
  • Develop, maintain, review, and implement policies, templates, playbooks, best practices, and trainings.
  • Keep abreast of and advise on applicable laws, regulations, and emerging trends that impact the business, and effectively communicate to the various stakeholders of these changes.
  • Provide practical advice and have general good business sense.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work EST hours.
  • You have 3+ years' experience.
  • Admitted to practice law or registered in-house counsel in your jurisdiction.
  • Prior law firm experience.
  • Experience advising companies in jurisdictions outside of the US.

Bonuses:
  • Prior in-house legal experience is notable, but not required.
  • Language fluency in Arabic, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, or Ukrainian is notable, but not required.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role in Southern California, Colorado, Washington, and Rhode Island is $118,700 - $201,800.

The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $129,500 - $220,200.

In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
