Job Description

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining and managing the accreditation with NABCB for ISO 14065 - VCS Scope
  • Identifying opportunies to leverage the accreditation for programmes in addition to the VCS
  • Work in close collaboration with the Global Sales Manager in identifying validation and verification opportunities and prospecting to clients
  • Development and management of a team of Lead Auditors through both internal trainings and recruitement
  • On occasions, act as Lead Auditor and/or Technical Reviewer
  • Support with technical and compelling content commercial proposals
  • Collaborate with the wider climate change programme team and marketing teams to define customer targets and marketing campaigns
  • Geographical responsibility: Global

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following activities:
  • Development and management of the the validation and verification of offset and removal projects' Business
  • Proactive identification of carbon markets programme and scheme together with the accreditation requirements
  • Development and management of technical teams of Lead and local auditors to ensure delivery across regions
  • From time to time act as Lead Assessor and Technical Reviewer
  • Management of accreditations
  • Support sales through technical learship and spractical sales tools

Qualifications

CORE COMPETENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ yars experience on carbon offsets programmes with a VVB (Validation and Verification Body)
  • Heavy and high complexity industries knowledge to ensure broad knowledge of applicable methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams
  • In depth understanding of internationally recognised offsets and removal programmes and schemes
  • Experience in managing accreditations
  • Project management skills to enable seameless delivery and management of projects under different programmes and schemes
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent English + other languages would be a plus
  • Able to be flexible in response to work demands, including international travel globally
  • Flexible location
