Are you ready to broaden your mind and thrive in our dynamic environment? We are seeking a Government Subcontract Compliance Manager to manage AstraZeneca US Government Subcontracting Compliance-related activities on current and future government contracts. This includes cost proposals, prime contracts, and subcontracts. You will act as an SME in interpreting US Federal Government regulations related to subcontract compliance and guide business stakeholders and procurement colleagues on USG/FAR requirements ensuring compliance of Subcontracts.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for preparing and applying US Government subcontracting T&C, flow-down clauses, and reporting requirements during AstraZeneca cost proposal preparation, prime contract execution, and managing the subcontract compliance activities.
  • Monitor compliance with government regulations by performing USG subcontract compliance internal audits/assessments, enhancing processes and tools, and working with procurement and business to reduce risks and improve compliance.
  • Develop metrics, reports, statistics, and training and provide support during audits.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree,
  • Certified US Federal Contract Manager required
  • Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and other government contracting rules and regulations
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract and/or acquisition management
  • Experience effectively working across organizations from all functions
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Comfortable with new technology and self-learning
  • Excellent MS Office and other computer programs, such as Coupa, SAP
  • Experience developing and presenting subcontracting training material
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to gather data from various sources and synthesize a single Understanding of procurement systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective awards

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
