Who are we looking for?

GHD's Project Management Construction Management group has a great opportunity for a Graduate Field Engineer. This position can be based in Santa Rosa, CA, Irvine, CA, Sacramento, CA, Seattle, WA, Phoenix, AZ and Honolulu, HI. In this role, you will work on a combination of office and project sites to assist the Project Manager or Resident Engineer with planning, coordinating, analyzing and understanding the scope of work for a variety of projects, managing paperwork and change orders, communicating with clients, and coordinating schedules.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Assisting with project proposals including reviewing requests for proposals, writing and developing proposals
• Assisting the Project Manager with preliminary design development and consulting coordination, estimates, constructability reviews managing project timelines, deadlines and requirements
• Acting as key point of contact for ordering materials and equipment
• Estimating takeoffs
• Assisting with weekly timesheets, expense reports and project tracking
• Providing training to other team members as needed

What you will bring to the team:

• Up to 2 years of professional construction experience
• AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly changing priorities and project demands
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Able & willing to travel throughout the United States up to 50% of the time

Salary Range: $68,000 - $74,000 based on experience.
