DraftKings is looking for a candidate with expertise in paid social marketing. You will be an integral part of the team, driving marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness & acquire VIP users on Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit. If you are a self-starter & excel at creating & executing an upper funnel digital marketing strategy, we would love to meet with you.
What you'll do as the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Owning upper funnel/brand awareness & VIP marketing on Paid Social channels - including the media plan, creative strategy, spend forecasting, test & learn agenda.
  • Dictating media buying tactics & placement to maximize brand awareness during key sport moments - this includes defining metrics of success, best creatives & campaigns to achieve our business goals.
  • Generating qualified VIP leads through paid social channels; collaborating with the VIP team to vet and acquire high-value users.
  • Directly executing media buys (hands-on-keyboard)
  • Managing external agencies to successfully execute brand campaigns.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class marketing execution (Integrated Marketing, Creative, Partnerships, Organic Social, Analytics, etc)
  • Serving as a digital marketing expert - working closely with channel reps to test into beta ad units & placements that serve to amplify our brand.
  • Serving as an industry expert - having a pulse on what competitors are executing on Paid Social channels.
  • Providing thought leadership and guidance on long term vision, cross-platform strategies, and measurement approaches.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing; with 2+ of those years being ad buying experience on the Paid Social channels (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok)
  • An understanding of anything sports, daily fantasy, and sports betting is preferred
  • Enthusiasm to test into new, upcoming ad placements to effectively reach incremental audiences.
  • Deep understanding of endemic content that resonates with users & drives engagement with sports fans on social platforms.
  • Goal-oriented mindset - defining what success looks like, how it can be measured, and the actionable steps needed to get there
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to identify patterns & trends within data sets
  • Marketing acumen - understanding creative/messaging, campaign types to drive brand awareness & VIP acquisition
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, long-term strategic project work while balancing day-to-day responsibilities
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Team player, excited to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders
