SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assigning work areas to HACCP techs and is also responsible for:

• Monitoring and reviewing HACCP control points
• Performing daily data verification tasks on HACCP and SSOP records
• Conducting daily pre-operational inspections on various departments throughout the plant
• Having a working knowledge of HACCP and SSOP procedures throughout the plant
• Completing all necessary documentation following up of noncompliance
• Reporting the effectiveness of preventive measures conducting SSOP and GMP audits
• Monitoring and enforcing GMP policies.

Other duties include:

• Monitoring the pest control program
• Performing computer entry for HACCP and SSOP program documentation
• Assisting with plant foreign materials findings investigation
• Assisting team members in case of emergencies or during slack time
• Performing thermometer calibrations
• Informing the supervisor of any mechanical breakdown or problem
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Experience is preferred but not required; must attend HACCP training.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Specific Skills: Must have basic math skills, ability to read and write, and must be able to meet essential job functions for this job classification
