The Florida State University Coastal & Marine Laboratory (FSUCML) is located on the northeastern Gulf of Mexico coast in a relatively undeveloped area of rich biological diversity one hour south of the FSU main campus in Tallahassee.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate for this position will be involved in the management of a research hatchery, which supports research and restoration objectives of the Apalachicola Bay System Initiative (ABSI). The hatchery is primarily focused on producing larvae and juveniles of the eastern oyster (Crassostrea virginica), but additional shellfish species are sometimes cultured for other research projects.
