BC Forward is currently seeking highly motivated Housekeeping for an opportunity located at Sparks, GA 31647.

Job Title: Housekeeping

Location: 14284 US Highway 41, Sparks, GA 31647

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Job Requirements:
A. Position Objective:
This position is accountable for performing day to day cleaning of processing equipment, associated venting, and site structures. Key emphasis will be placed on maintaining the dust level below OSHA standards for dust accumulations. Ensure cleanliness of areas are maintained during processing activities. Communicate and interact daily with other Site Supply personnel to produce and deliver the finest quality seed possible.

B. Primary Responsibilities:
1. Sweep floors as needed to maintain cleanliness.
2. Wipe Ducting, beams, and rails as necessary to remove dust.
3. Empty trash containers as necessary.
4. Communicate with other departments for cleaning activities.
5. Assist with variety cleans to prevent cross contamination.
6. Work closely with other team members to make sure quality of work and quality of seed being produced is the best in the industry.
7. Cross train for processing assignments.
8. Follow policy and procedures for task at hand.
9. Assist the Shift Supervisor as directed.
10. Assist in other areas of the site as needed. (Seed returns, shipping of finished goods, etc.)
11. Assist in Delinting as needed.
12. Maintain good housekeeping practices.
13. Maintain the seed equipment.
14. Follow all OSHA safety rules and regulations to promote a safe working environment (e.g., Confined Space procedures, LOTO procedures, Climbing Ladders, etc?)
15. Participate and retain safety training and apply with daily operations.
16. Performs other duties as directed by the Site Manager, Plant Manager, Shift Supervisor.
