HR Generalist - Int (12163953)

Description/Comment: Job Description: Performs administrative and clerical duties having a significant degree of complexity within the Human Resources Department. Provides consultation and services to internal customers on a variety of complex Human Resource issues.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Perform general clerical duties.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Knowledgeable in all areas of Human Resources.

* Greets clients or customers and directs them accordingly.

* Assist applicants with job submissions.

* Facilitates all aspects of internal and external recruitment and selection processes up to job grade/job band 15. Posts all positions on the applicant tracking system (Taleo), coordinates interview schedules and candidate travel arrangements, tracks applicant flow, and coordinates administration of various pre-placement screening processes. Completes all new hire documents and data input.

* Provides timely and professional service to employees using appropriate processes and communication channels

* Performs complex administrative work requiring use of personal computer, calculator and various computer programs such as business productivity software (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

* Performs telephone duties such as screening calls to determine customer requirements and directing them to proper Human Resources Representatives.

* Participates in special projects as required by Human Resources management.

* Provides training to others in areas of assigned expertise.

* Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.

* Maintains full compliance and conducts all activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

* Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

* This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred

* Human Resources experience in Manufacturing

* Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information

* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Taleo

Skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and employees.

Work Environment

* This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

* Able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Start Time: 8:00 AM
