Job Information

The HR Generalist is a collaborative position that reports to the HR Manager and plays a critical role in the overall employee life cycle and experience at Doosan Infracore North America (DINA) for the North American region. This position ensures that the best possible talent is sourced to join our dynamic organization and employees have a consistently positive experience during and after onboarding while also ensuring best people practices and legal compliance.

Additionally, the HR Generalist will support HRIS data integrity, onboarding, talent development, culture, and reporting responsibilities as well as other projects as assigned.

Role & Responsibility

Talent Acquisition Strategy and Process Excellence

  • Create and implement a diverse and competitive hiring processes.
  • This includes job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job boards, and comprehensive recruitment campaigns.
  • Serve as an advisor to hiring leaders to drive excellence and positive manager experiences.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks as well as specialty networks.
  • Identify and select top talent from available candidates, conduct screenings, and coordinate the interview process.
  • Use applicant tracking systems and other recruiting systems to track applicants through the selection phase to onboarding.

Compliance, Reporting, & Vendor Management
  • Ensure strong diversity recruitment and compliance of our hiring process to include oversight of the affirmative action program and reporting.
  • Develop metrics to create reports and identify hiring efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Develop relationships with, and manage third-party vendors, recruitment agencies, and staffing firms.
  • Manage HR transactions in HRIS, employee document organization, maintenance, onboarding, and fringe benefits.
  • Ensurepositive hire and employee experiences.
  • Maintain and support HRIS data & data integrity for employee changesin local and global HR systems.

Training and Development
  • Support company training programs through managing LinkedIn Learning tool.
  • Curate content and learning tracks.
  • Support team managers with the LinkedIn Learning platform.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
  • PHR/CP credential preferred and/or strong applied understanding of employment laws and affirmative action.
  • 5 -10 years' Human Resources recruiting experience preferred with the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants.
  • Proven HRIS and data integrity experience with high aptitude for accuracy.
  • Prior experience with Talent Development (LinkedIn Learning is a plus)
  • Demonstrated industry-specific knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries, independently, and within the HR team.
  • Effective time management and priority focus skills required to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Travel standard: < 20%.
