Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Successfully selling projects that are profitable tons for the division.
- Covering DSM role in territories without an active DSM or while DSMs are unavailable.
- Generating project takeoffs and creating eQuote scopes from drawings, specifications, and engaging the builder.
- Traveling with the DSMs to assist with builder recruitment, project meetings and box-by-box reviews.
- Develop and maintain sales strategy and setting expectations with our builders to ensure equal business stature.
- Multi-tasking between projects, scheduling, pricing, phone & email correspondence
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in Metal Building, Construction, or Construction related field.
- Ability to interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings.
- Willingness and ability to travel to builders' offices and job sites, possibly on short notice.
- Required to have and keep a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields
