This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Instrument Installation Specialist, you will be responsible to :

  • Install Atellica, and CI1900 instrument solutions at install site, by performing Start-up and calibration of systems within a planned project timeline.
  • Support break/fixes during the entire project cycle, c ommunicates, escalates technical issues and delays to keep installation projects on schedule; assures quality; schedule, budget and customer satisfaction during project implementation phases.
  • E valuate site layout and installation quality of our mechanical install vendors; start-up in accordance with factory instructions and specifications; troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failure errors; orders missing or damaged parts; provide feedback to and vendors, factory, project management
  • and planning;
  • Use the tools provided to document the predefined installation tasks.
  • Provide expert level mentoring support to field service organization.

  • Performs complex equipment installation, investigative tests, and repairs.
  • Performs ATP, Calibrations, and Precision on Diagnostic products
  • Maintains tools & parts inventory, schedules maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc., and completes documents required of all installations.
  • Performs complex service or systems calls and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
  • Performs assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Technical training or degree, associates or higher; minimum of 5+ years of experience with Atellica/CI1900 system installation or service
  • A relevant degree with may substitute for a portion of required working experience
  • Basic Understanding of facilities and electrical requirements
  • Successfully demonstrates thorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
  • Ability to travel overnight 90% of the time
  • May require weekend work
  • End of the Quarter work requires "All-Hands-On-Deck" attitude to achieve business goals
  • Expert level troubleshooting skills and capable of evaluating room layout and site planning
  • Must be able to effectively set up and connect hospital networks to Siemens remote diagnostics
  • Must be organized, self-sufficient and capable of working with little or no supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Candidates need to reside in Central or Eastern U.S. near a major airport
Company vehicle is provided, also for private use.

The pay range for this position is $73,000 - $100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 5% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
