We are currently seeking a summer Insurance Intern to join our team in Fargo, ND.

MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience.Learn to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You'll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency's internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA's goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

We will count on you to:

• Rotate through multiple departments learning and assisting on projects. Departments include: Employee Health & Benefits, Business Insurance, Personal Insurance and Employer Services.
• Analyze and research service, coverage, and industry related topics.
• Shadow assigned service staff members & meet with leadership.
• Collaborate with fellow summer interns to complete a 3 projects and presentation to senior management.
• Maintain professional ethics according to insurance standards, MMA standards and licensing laws in the State of North Dakota.
• Participate in National Internship Competition with interns across the country.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

What you need to have:

• Cumulative GPA 3.0 minimum
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

What makes you stand out:

• Two semesters of college coursework studying in an area of business completed
• Insurance, risk management or finance coursework completed
