Description: Our client is currently seeking a Intermediate QA
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Prism technology team is creating next generation pricing and risk systems and infrastructures to better support the Equity Derivatives business. We are looking for a hands-on Automation Test Engineer with strong test automation expertise combined with exceptional communication skills to shape the software quality of our new platforms. In this role you will be responsible for software test planning, automations, executions, and documentations of new and legacy systems.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for all test activities/processes - create, execute, and enhance manual/automated test process; develop and enhance automation frameworks; designed and maintained efficient test environment/setup; document and track software issues and test data
• Facilitate resolution and communication across functional groups on software issues and release decisions
• Work with project stakeholders and developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality
• Establish efficient CI/CD pipeline with DevOps tools like Jenkins, OpenShift, or Github Actions to automate and speed up
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Undergrad degree from a quantitative discipline
• 2+ years' experience as software QA/Automation/Dev/DevOps
• Experience in any test automation framework •Experience in at least one programming language - Python,JAVA,C#,C++ •Experience in at least one database such as SQLServer, MySql, Sybase Nice-to-have: *** Max of 4 bullet points here **** Think of things if they had would help them ramp up faster in the job or give them an edge over other candidates Prior experience with Capital Markets systems QA/automation Prior experience with micro services/API testing Experience with DevOps tools - Jenkins, GitHub Actions Experience with containerization technology/tools - docker/kubernetes
