Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking qualified college students for its Summer Internship Program in Software Engineering and Systems Engineering.

Software and Systems Engineering Interns work alongside our technical teams using powerful, patented technologies to facilitate the delivery of revolutionary capabilities for our customers in the Department of Defense (DOD). These include Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Virtualization.

IDT's Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to learn from experts and perform meaningful work in a professional environment. IDT interns gain valuable hands-on experience and solve real-world problems. In this program, students can expect:

Software Engineer Intern

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or related field
• Completed coursework/experience in application development with JAVA or C++ in a Linux or Windows environment
• Major GPA 3.0/4.0

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with any of the following: JavaScript, Python, XML, Eclipse, UML design, MATLAB, VMWare or virtualization technologies
• Current college juniors/rising seniors preferred

Systems Engineer Intern

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field
• Completed coursework/experience in application development with UML or SysML in a Linux or Windows environment
• Major GPA 3.0/4.0

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with any of the following: JAVA, C++, MATLAB, JavaScript, Python, XML, Eclipse, VMWare, virtualization technologies or design specifications
• Current college juniors/rising seniors preferred
