Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Insurance Sales Specialist.

As an Insurance Sales Specialist, you will:

Job Description:

Obtains new accounts and plans and handles public relations efforts in the service area indicated.

DEVELOPS SALES STRATEGY AND PREPARES INFORMATION TO ENSURE IMPACTFUL AND EFFECTIVE PRESENTATIONS AND SALES CALLS.

  • Develops a sound sales strategy prior to meeting with prospective clients 100% of the time.
  • Collects necessary information prior to sales presentations to establish effective presentations 100% of the time.
  • Sets up and maintains a database of prospective our Clinic potential accounts that is 100 % accurate.
COORDINATES AND CONDUCTS SALES ACTIVITIES FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL, MEDICARE ADVANTAGE, AND SENIORCARE PLANS IN AREA TO INCREASE SALES.
  • Makes a minimum of 70 contacts per week to meet or exceed projected annual sales.
  • Ensures that new prospects are at least 20% of contacts made.
  • Conducts sales presentations in a professional manner 100% of time.
  • Asks for new business at the end of sales presentations.
  • Participates in community activities, health fairs, chamber activities, etc. to promote our product and Organization.
FOLLOWS UP ON CONTACTS AND SALES ACTIVITIES TO MAINTAIN RECORDS AND FACILITATE ENROLLMENT.
  • Sets up new accounts by securing appropriate paperwork for underwriting considerations.
  • Maintains a client file on each account that is 100% accurate and current on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintains and submits a weekly contact report to Sales Manager listing individuals contacted and outcome of contact.
PROVIDES INFORMATION AND ANSWERS QUESTIONS FROM NEW AND PERSPECTIVE CLIENTS TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
  • Responds to questions by prospective clients regarding our products on a daily basis.
  • Holds sales sessions for new members on a regular basis.
FULFILLS CONTINUING EDUCATION TO IMPROVE SKILLS AND INCREASE EFFECTIVENESS.
  • Takes responsibility to understand and complete professional improvement courses and provide us with any necessary documentation.
  • Participates in ongoing training for improving sales and service skills.
PERFORMS OTHER POSITION APPROPRIATE DUTIES AS REQUIRED IN A COMPETENT, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS MANNER.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Pass Texas Group I (01-01) license examination within 90 days of employment.
  • Three to five years experience required.
  • Sales experience in HMO or PPO individual health insurance, Medicare Advantage insurance, group health insurance, marketing/public relations, or related sales field.
  • Public speaking, good communications skills, selling abilities.
Qualification:
  • 3+ years of Insurance, sales, HMO, PPO experience required.
  • HMO License
  • Bachelors required

Pay Range*: $20 - $25 Per Hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
