Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management and control within our organization. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts of our inventory, identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels.
• Utilize inventory management menus in SAP/ERP system perform cycle counts efficiently and effectively.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel, manufacturing and other departments to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent inventory discrepancies from recurring.
• Maintain accurate documentation of cycle counting activities, findings, and inventory adjustments made
• Work with Quality department to physically and systemically segregate non-conforming materials
• Satisfactorily complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements and operate within all ISO standards pertaining to site Distribution including, but not limited to, Control of Documents and Quality Policy.
• Safely operate distribution equipment, as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• 0+ yrs Proven experience in cycle counting or inventory control is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Proficiency in using ERP/SAP system preferred
• Basic data analysis and reporting Excel skills

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.00-$23.00.
