A Kforce client is seeking to hire an IT Audit Associate-Hybrid in New York City, New York (NY).Summary:Our client a publicly traded financial services firm is seeking an IT Audit Associate to join Data Management audit team to help cover data management processes from applications and infrastructure perspective. The role will be 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. This firm offer excellent opportunity for advancement along with great benefits and a yearend bonus.Responsibilities include:
  • Develop a subject matter expertise on best practices for the controls related to data management area
  • Identify and assess areas of critical and high risks and evaluate application and system infrastructure controls as per audit methodology
  • Document observations of controls assessments and prepare the test lead sheets to support the findings
  • Communicate with process owners to obtain key reports and data samples, communicate risk and issues identified, articulate the impact amongst stakeholder and senior members of audit team
  • Assist in performing quarterly continuous monitoring to identify new developments and assess overall control and risk environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related preferred
  • CISA/CISSP certification is a plus
  • 3-5+ years of IT Audit experience/preferably with a Financial Services, Brokerage, and/or Public Accounting Firm
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to carry out audit execution and work on multiple audit assignments/while meeting deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
