IT Business System Analyst Senior Advisor
The IT Business System Analyst Senior Advisor collaborates with business and IT partners to facilitate and support the development of detailed scope statements and high-level business requirements in development efforts.
How you will make an impact:
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with Business and IT partners.
- Identifies, initiates, and drives opportunities to support business activities.
- Leads the high-level requirements development process.
- Supports elicitation/development of high-level and detailed business requirements for large- to program-level efforts.
- Partners with account managers collaborating on business opportunities and solutions.
- Identifies opportunities to strengthen account manager effectiveness.
- Supports the management of integrated (business, functional and technical) requirements and design including participation and oversight in defining enterprise-related processes and changes in alignment with industry.
- Supports development of strategic plans and technology solutions to meet business requirements across the enterprise.
- Proactively addresses customer issues, works with business and IT partner to develop alternatives, and is empowered to implement business and process solutions.
- Supports solution implementation across enterprise initiatives; ensures system is implemented according to plan.
- Addresses risks and implements contingency plans to resolve issues impacting business or IT objectives across the enterprise.
- Supports and maintains the HRSD ServiceNow application.
- Performs data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, configuration work, process analysis, and data flows for process improvement opportunities.
- Executes innovative digital strategies to transform how HR delivers value to an organization and how associate experience work.
- Conducts working sessions with HR/Payroll/COE functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements related to the ServiceNow HRSD module.
- Utilizes the agile methodology, acting as the Product Manager, the IT business Systems Analyst will drive the implementation of the application across HR COE's.
- Plans, executes, and monitors ServiceNow HRSD implementation projects with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production.
- Provides subject matter expertise on key decisions related to ServiceNow HRSD.
Minimum Requirements: - Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: - Deep knowledge and hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.
- Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.
- Experience with mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems and the impacts of changes in the systems stream, testing/product quality processes, tools and methods strongly preferred.
- Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.
