As a Junior Business Analyst (BA) on the DnA team, you can expect to actively participate in the intake operational process, gathering requirements, documenting project needs, assisting in organizing meetings and maintaining project coordination. You'll apply Agile principles, refine user stories, conduct functional reviews, and promote collaboration within the team.

To give you an idea of how this Business Analyst role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:

• Assist with gathering functional and data requirements from stakeholders during the intake operational process, including scheduling meetings to gather necessary information
• Perform detailed notes on meeting discussions from clarifications made, decisions made, questions/answers inquired, and next steps for engagement
• Assist DnA team members in applying the team's processes for daily capacity per child tasks progress, development daily work progress, and review the current scope of committed/active work within Sprint to track completion/progress for stakeholder update meetings
• Help with creating and refining project plans, including tracking progress against milestones and identifying potential data risks or issues

We are looking for a Jr BA with skill in listening attentively to understand the requirements, concerns, and perspectives of others before your own and a willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. Additional qualifications include:

• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and stakeholder expectations
• Aptitude for identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and developing creative solutions to address challenges
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, manage deadlines, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Skill in resolving conflicts and differences of opinion within the team or with stakeholders to maintain project momentum
• Skill in taking ownership/responsibility for one's actions and shortcomings, admitting errors, and using them as opportunities for professional growth and continuous improvement
