We are a large non-profit based in Houston known for our work in the community. You have probably seen our notable work in the news or online! Our mission is simple: to provide food to anyone and everyone. Our meaningful work impacts others and has inspired so many within our community and nationally. We are looking for a Data Engineer who wants to contribute to our work and find ways to help us make an even larger impact!
What You Will Be Doing You will work with our Data team by designing and building out a large-scale data production infrastructure. You will also debug along the way and maintain, create technical documentation.
What You Need for this Position *MUST HAVE: *
- Data engineering experience
- Experience with R and Python
- SQL wizard (know how to run SQL queries and operate within SQL)
- API experience
- Have worked with BI tools
- Git
- DBT
- Work with our ETL pipeline

*Nice to Have:*
- More experience, the better!
- Have a passion for non-profits
- Local to Houston
