Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey in the world of landscape architecture? Barge Design Solutions is actively seeking a visionary Landscape Architect to join our Planning & Landscape Architecture (P|LA) group in the vibrant cities of Nashville TN and Birmingham, AL. This mid-level position is tailored for a seasoned professional with five to seven years of experience who is eager to be at the forefront of groundbreaking design.

Barge's P|LA group, comprised of 22+ forward-thinking Landscape Architects and Planners, spans our extensive geographic footprint. Our focus on planning and design projects in the SE USA includes parks and recreation, urban design, town centers, streetscapes, greenways, and trails. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in the built environment.

As a key player in our team, you will:

• Fuel Passion: Share your unwavering passion for Landscape Architecture within our dynamic, inter-disciplinary environment.
• Shape the Future: Engage in landscape architecture, urban design and master planning for parks, trails, plazas, and mixed-use developments.
• Lead the Way: Take charge of project tasks such as critical thinking exercises, product research, production of plans and specifications, and design implementation.
• Visualize the Future: Prepare captivating graphics, reports, exhibits, and cost estimates for conceptual designs and master plans.
• Empower Teams: Provide crucial support and leadership to our landscape architecture and planning production team.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Educational Excellence: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Compelling Portfolio: Showcase your skills with a compelling cover letter and graphically rich portfolio.
• Professional Strength: 5-7 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture studio or professional office setting. Licensure is a prerequisite.
• Innovative: A self-motivated mindset with a hunger for learning, growth, and pushing the boundaries.
• Passionate Work Ethic: Strong dedication and passion for the profession.
• Collaborative: Ability to collaborate seamlessly with other design disciplines in our dynamic and supportive environment.
• Creative Communication: Strong graphic, design, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SketchUp (Lumion, Revit, and Rhino are a plus), solid AutoCAD skills, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Tech Bonus: Proficiency with LandFX and Civil3D is desired.
