We have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Fire Protection Engineer who will support the growth of our Fire & Life Safety (FLS) business across the Northeast region. This position will be based in our new office in Burlington, MA!

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Developing plans to grow the FLS team in the NE and future growth in Massachusetts and surrounding states
• Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects
• Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities
• Supporting the execution of existing FLS work
• Developing good working relationships with the Northeast Business Groups (Environmental, Water, Engineering Design)
• Assist in the recruitment of future employees

Successful skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's and or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or similar degree field
• Current Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license
• At least 10 years of experience in the evaluation/design of Fire Protection Systems and/or Building/Fire Code Consultation
• Strong Business Development skills with an ability to maintain and build outstanding client relationships
• Identify and support business development, client expansion and proposal development activities for our Fire Protection/Life Safety business
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff
• Strong project management skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget
• Active member of relevant industry associations and communities
• Positive and motivating collaborative work style
• Ability to manage work and coordinate with multi-office teams and personnel
