Reporting to the Sr. Site Leader, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible to lead continuous improvement initiatives that will positively impact customer satisfaction, quality, and performance. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will also serve as the Subject Matter Expert for continuous improvement activities at the facility.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the plant PMO (Project Management Office) process working with cross-facility and cross-functional project teams through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process. Lead & facilitate Lean events using lean manufacturing tools/methods. Lead the 5S Program.
  • Develop & implement strategic, complex process improvement projects in conjunction with goals and imperatives for increasing revenue, optimizing cycle time, reducing defect rates, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Lead key plant initiatives such as the plant Change Management process and Root Cause Analyses using RCA tools as appropriate.
  • Support and mentor peers in the areas of Lean Six Sigma, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, & change management. Provide plant floor technical support when necessary.

Qualifications:

Education
  • B.S Degree in an Engineering or Data Science discipline
  • Preferred: L/S Black Belt Certification

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment
