Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:Teach UNIV 1101 Learning Frameworks one-credit-hour course. Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Course requirements include teaching first-year students to achieve academic, career and personal goals, take advantage of campus resources, develop community and a sense of belonging, and contribute to our Bearkat community in face-to-face classes at the main campus in Huntsville, Texas. Embedded peer mentor support in each class. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.
Requires a minimum of Master's degree in related field for lower level course offerings.
Experience Required for the Position:Higher Education and teaching experience preferred.
