ZS's Compliance Team is a dynamic, hardworking, valued, and collaborative team that's expected to bring logic, discipline, expertise, and a controls mindset to our business stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include client teams, practice areas, legal, and senior leadership. External stakeholders include client compliance functions and client auditors. The Compliance team is responsible for the following:

  • Implement processes to mitigate risk
  • Create awareness of compliance obligations through targeted communications and client-aligned support
  • Provide oversight monitoring on market research activities
  • Build relationships with client compliance groups
  • Monitor client-mandated trainings
  • Perform internal audit on market research activities
  • Keep compliance documentation and processes up-to-date

COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE

We seek a Compliance Associate to join the ZS Compliance team. Compliance is a critical function within ZS as it enables our firm to meet its legal and contractual obligations by working to identify our critical risks, building sustainable and scalable processes and ensuring that those processes align with ZS's obligations. In order to achieve these objectives, Compliance works closely with legal, IT and consulting staff. This role within Compliance will report directly to the Compliance team lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute targeted communications to our internal business unit stakeholders to increase awareness of compliance responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team lead and internal business unit stakeholders to ensure monitoring processes and training versions are up-to-date with client requirements
  • Monitor the enrollments and completions of client-mandated training through the use of reports and analysis tools
  • Monitor execution of client-mandated reporting activities with business unit stakeholders to mitigate risk of non-compliance
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to report training compliance to internal management stakeholders
  • Maintain and centralize organized records to be made available for client audits
  • Maintain centralized resources to ensure information is up-to-date with recent client contracts
  • Perform other duties and engage in projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related or legal field
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and demonstrate an intermediate level of Microsoft Office to include but not limited to Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas required), Outlook and Word.
  • Candidate with prior experience in compliance/audit or process management preferred, particularly in pharmacovigilance or billing compliance
  • Hands-on working knowledge of contract management preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties accurately
  • The ability to prepare data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team setting
