Equipment Needs:
Safety shoes
Basic general tools, wrenches ,sockets ,hammers, ETC.
Essential Duties:
Repair all warehouse equipment as needed.
Fix or diagnose dock doors and hydraulic dock plates.
Be able to do minor electrical work.
Able to do carpentry work and painting.
Advanced welding knowledge and fabrication.
Work with no supervision.
Able to read and understand advanced electrical schematics and diagrams.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems for electric powered lifts.
Research and submit orders for parts on all equipment.
Assist in regulating inventories and costs.
Assign tasks, supervise and maintain workload for other techs.
Assist and train other techs on all types of repairs and tasks.
Quote repairs and monitor warranty issues.
Assist property manager with quality control on completed tasks.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment documenting or repairing all deficiencies.
Possess excellent communication skills with managers, warehouse personnel, and vendors.
Able to rebuild/reseal components on equipment.
Able to make decisions on types of repairs and fabrications.
Basic computer skills. (spreadsheets, PM records)
Concrete repair when needed.
Able to assemble racking.
Do any handyman work needed to maintain facility.
Other duties : as required
As required by property manager.
Financial Responsibilities: Must supply own tools to perform work
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities and will have to provide routine information to supervisor.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of mechanical experience in maintenance or automotive field or education in industrial equipment field.
Must be able to work flexible hours determined by needs of department including weekends.
Advanced mechanical skills.
Strong verbal/written communication.
Skilled in multi-tasking and competing priorities.
Advanced knowledge of fork-lift or industrial equipment repair.
Advanced knowledge of industrial equipment and operation.
Skill in following verbal and written instructions.
Leadership/training experience.

Training This position will provided with on the job training in addition to more departmental or company training as needed.

Decision making Under direct supervision of the property manager work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for reviewed decision making.
