Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler IV in Houston, TX. This is a sub-contract position with possibility for extension, but not guaranteed, working within a Wood Client Office. We are currently seeking a high-energy professional who is customer-focused with sound business acumen and problem-solving skills to join our dynamic organization. Ideal candidates should be natural team players, eager to learn and grow, and have an eye for innovation and continuous improvement. The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team is responsible for implementing a standard global design solution for all (O&M) capabilities aligned with the overall strategy. The O&M Planner/Scheduler will work closely with Business Unit (BU) and corporate subject matter experts (SMEs), Process Leads and PWC (Integration Contractor) to finalize design, prototyping, development, testing and successful deployments in all Client's BUs. The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for supporting the agile development process and support training programs as appropriate.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

• Facilitate localization of maintenance work process for future state SAP-PM application for individual BUs, based on client's Global Design standards
• Provide guidance for maintenance work processes including work identification, prioritization, work approval, job planning, material sourcing and asset maintenance and integrated scheduling
• Communicate decisions clearly and in a timely manner to impacted functions, BUs, and other organizations
• Support development and roll-out of O&M training materials; Administer training as needed

Skills / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas industry
• Proficient in SAP - PM (Plant Maintenance)
• SME on Prometheus graphical scheduler
• Prometheus STO & Maxavera
• Application of P&S KPI suites & dashboards

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledgeable in work processes for Notification Management, Work Order Management, Maintenance planning & Scheduling
• Expertise with SAP S4 maintenance master data elements, including Functional Locations & associated master data elements, Maintenance Plants, Planning Plants & Work Centers, Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Items, Task Lists, PRTs, BOMs, and Measurement Points & Measurement Documents
• Make difficult decisions and explain them to others impacted in a compelling manner
• Champion the "Enterprise first" mindset for global standardization
• Strong written and oral communications skills with experience in providing trainin
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on Operational Excellence and delivering results
• Demonstrated organizing and planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data to draw valid conclusions, identify root causes and solve problems
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organization
• Demonstrated influencing skills, the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A background in SAP would be a plus.
• Able to learn and adapt to new systems quickly and eagerly
