Salary: The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $149k to $176k.

Job Summary
The Sr. Manager Performance budget & analysis will be responsible to manage offshore wind OPEX models, performance reporting, offshore wind farms availability calculation, interface with settlement, control and credit management and OPEX insurance within other support tasks to the offshore wind asset management and commercial operation team.
It is expected to manage a team of 3 to 6 people but high scope on business cost and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
This important role within the budget and performance of Avangrid Renewables Offshore wind will belong to the Operation and Maintenance team and will assist on:
• Responsible of the development of OPEX for projects for bids, under development, FID approvals and budget updates.
o Ensure consistency of budgets and subsequent revisions.
o Implement recommendations and advice on OPEX management.
o Responsible for controlling OPEX and ensuring effective resource allocation.
o

• Assist on the monthly closings and P&L accounts for those operational projects.
o Preparation and review of Opex Accruals, Budget, Forecast and variance analysis.
o Assist managing electricity power agreements for operational projects. Ensure correct electricity measurements and liaise with Control Department for the invoicing procedure.

• Assist Site and Back Office Teams during procurement processes ensuring that AGR best practices and procedures are applied.

• Report O&M financial situation of Projects for senior management.
o Provide comments on the business results & the best estimate.
o Support the director Asset Manager and O&M VP on management&analys and benchmarking our operational results.
o Engineering/Analytical: the main job role is to perform detailed performance and asset health studies on wind farms and wind turbines to identify opportunities to optimise power production and reliability in the offshore wind projects.
o Diagnostic Tool (DOMINA G): support and enhance Diagnostic Tool, which is used to notify users of deviations from expected turbine performance whilst carrying out the day to day performance monitoring of portfolio using the Diagnostic Tool and other independent means.
o Innovation and State of the Art: Participate on innovative projects relating to business intelligence including publicly funded project. Disseminate innovation activities to internal and external parties through conferences and events in line with project requirements.
• Ensure project cash-flows and settlements process:
o Responsible to mange interface together with the JV manager on monthly settlements and invoicing of wind farms production.

Required Qualifications
The essential qualifications from the candidate are:.
• Degree level qualification
• Some postgraduate experience in industry with some experience in Offshore Wind
• Offshore wind experience
• Good ability to manage own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, whilst producing high quality results in demanding timeframes
• Strong command of English, both verbally and written
• IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software.
• Flexible to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of countries thought northern Europe and USA, particularly Germany, France, Spain and England.
• Eligibility to work in USA
