The Business Analysis Manager leads the Business Analysis (BA) team and will liaise between Business Technology and other functional areas as they collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements and support user testing to achieve identified goals. This role will participate in multiple medium-to-large technical, systems, or business improvement initiatives or projects within the company. The Business Analysis Manager provides standards and guidance to the BA team.

The Business Analysis Manager may also participate in meetings with stakeholders, documenting needs & business processes, and uncovering opportunities for continuous improvement. Attention to detail, organization, facilitation, communication, business process improvement, and self-initiative are key skills for this role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate degree in Information Technology or Business, bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 10 years or more in business analysis; prior management or team leadership beneficial

or

Any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.

Travel: 15%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Resource Management:

  • Assigns members of the BA team to projects based on size, scope and experience.
  • Effectively manages a resource plan for the BA team.


Problem solving and analysis:
  • Facilitates gathering of information required to determine level of effort for estimating cost, scope, timeline and resources needed for project support from BA Team.
  • Creates as-is and future state documentation.
  • Performs troubleshooting to understand problems and create a recommendation for a resolution.
  • Ensures project, technical and business requirements, functional and non-functional, are identified and achieved throughout project execution.
  • Aides project managers in resolving conflicts in priorities, tasks, dependencies for the project team.


Relationship Management and Leadership:
  • Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, vendors, consultants and key clients. Role is responsible to work with Project Analysis Manager and BT leadership to fully integrate the capability into processes.
  • Leads the BA team to collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements and support user testing to achieve identified goals.
  • Ensures BA team is meeting business needs.
  • A ctively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.


Requirements Management:
  • Establishes and deploys standard templates and methods, collects, analyzes, develops, and documents the business requirements.
  • Assists Business Analysts in managing project scope, maintaining visibility to status and mitigating risks or issues.
  • Helps alleviate blockers within projects.
  • Backs up the Business Analysts, when necessary, by participating in project meetings.


Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
