Job Description Summary
Positioned within the Cardiology Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) the Project Manager B is expected to actively manage research projects including multi-site investigator-initiated protocols, troubleshoot operational issues on a daily basis and assist with any and all aspects of the assigned projects including budgets, patient visits, specimen procurement and processing, data entry, query resolution and working with study monitors). The CCRU Project Manager B will work closely with major internal and external stakeholders to develop project plans and support day to day operations of clinical research proposals for the CCRU team. The CCRU Project Manager B will collaborate with CCRU leadership to draft investigator-initiated protocols, consent forms, CRFs, and other study related documents. The CCRU Project Manager B will manage the CCRU coordinators/support staff including the delegation of tasks, performance management, and time management. The CCRU Manager B will organize internal team meetings, creating the agendas and recording meeting minutes and action items.
Job Description

Manage single and multi-site clinical trials (including study start up, daily operations, external site communications (including DSMB members) and troubleshooting, recruitment and enrollment; QA& QC; SOP development; study close out activities)
Manage CCRU support staff
Create protocol documents/databases for investigator-initiated research projects
Organize team meetings, create agendas, record minutes and action items
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Master's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
