We are seeking a leader who will manage the monitoring, detection, and mitigation of fraud, waste, and abuse to safeguard the organization's assets.

We are looking for a Manager with:

Experience: 7 years' relevant experience to include leadership experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Accounting, Business Administration, Health, or a related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Preferred License/Credentials:

  • AHFI, CFE or similar fraud or investigative certification or accreditation
  • CPC
  • Licensing in a healthcare field

What a day may look like:
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the special investigations' unit: monitoring, detection, and mitigation of fraud waste, and abuse.
  • Provides guidance, counseling, and continuing education to staff. Selects, develops, coaches, mentors, and assesses performance of staff.
  • Develops and interprets, policies, procedures, service standards and workflows to support the consistent application of practices across the functional area and compliance with regulations.
  • Leads the development of threat identification and security procedures to deter fraudulent activity and minimize loss.
  • Ensures the accuracy and thoroughness of findings presenting to internal and external departments/agencies for prosecution.
  • Establishes or assists with the definition of strategies, policies, programs, and procedures for the control, detection, and analysis of frauds.
  • Monitors quality and recommends alternate solutions to problems.
  • Facilitates interview of fraud suspects.
  • Handles the most complex and confidential or sensitive investigations.
  • Ensures compliance with all laws & legislation governing investigations.
  • Oversees vendors to ensure effectiveness and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
