At Dexcom, we're on a mission to transform diabetes care through innovative technologies and a commitment to excellence. As the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our strategic vision and programs across the Operations and R&D teams. This TA Manager will be a part of a dynamic environment where your leadership and expertise will make a tangible impact.

Where you come in:

  • Strategic Leadership: You craft and execute the strategic vision for talent acquisition, ensuring alignment with the needs of our Operations and R&D teams. Collaborate closely with the Americas leadership to support requisitions across all functional units.
  • Team Development: You lead, coach, and develop our Talent Acquisition Recruiters, empowering them to deliver exceptional results. You foster a culture of growth and excellence within the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You partner with the TA Manager - Commercial and G&A to address evolving talent acquisition needs and coordinate priority levels effectively. You drive consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency across the Americas to meet the dynamic demands of our business.
  • Global Coordination: You collaborate with the Sr. Manager Global Flex and Global Flex Manager to ensure seamless sourcing support and coverage for critical roles. You leverage successful expansion playbooks to facilitate efficient management and communication.
  • Process Optimization: You identify and implement process improvements to enhance the hiring experience for both hiring managers and candidates. You utilize metrics to drive informed decisions and continuously elevate team performance.
  • Strategic Partnership: You work closely with senior leadership to gain insights into the organization's business objectives and corresponding talent requirements. You provide expertise on external recruiting policies, practices, and trends to inform talent acquisition strategies.
  • Operational Excellence: You partner with Talent Operations to ensure a seamless new hire onboarding experience and maintain consistency across the global team. You encourage your team to get involved in TA projects.

What makes you successful:
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the life sciences industries, such as medical devices, biotech, or pharmaceuticals, is essential for success in this role.
  • Strategic Recruitment: Demonstrated expertise in partnering closely with senior management and leading recruitment efforts for R&D and Operations. Experience in conducting senior leadership level searches (Director and above) is necessary.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory experience with a track record of hiring, performance management, coaching, and team development. Ability to resolve performance issues effectively and foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using metrics to establish team goals, track progress, and inform operational plans. A data-driven approach to talent acquisition is critical for success.

Travel Required:
  • 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 8- 12 years of industry experience.
  • 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
