Manager - Portfolio Management and Governance for Western Union (Denver, CO) - Govern portfolio efforts in a Scaled Agile environment. Oversee the achievement and risk "blockers" related to IT product deliveries. Partner with PMOs and Product to align lean business cases, linking business benefits to IT investments for funding and allocation requests, Partner with engineering to provide delivery insight during prioritization and contractual obligation. Ensure Scaled Agile governance processes and decisions are applied consistently across entire digital Portfolio. Oversee the creation and review of key metrics, outcomes, and reporting related to milestones and objectives. Design and build dashboards based on stakeholder input at the Portfolio, Product and Team levels using Jira and Confluence. Assess and Report the health of product deliveries with objectivity, accuracy, and transparency. Implement and monitor Agile KPIs to ensure benefits are being realized from the adoption of agile practices (increase time to market, increased productivity, higher quality, increased employee satisfaction. Ensure that appropriate stakeholders are engaged in risk identification and mitigation. Predict and identify risks/opportunities from interdependencies of product deliveries. Collaborate to gain consistency and value add reporting that is developed through automation. Utilize an Agile approach to foster continue learning and a fast feedback loop; encourage experimentation. This is not a personnel manager role and does not have hire/fire authority. This is a telecommuting position. Reports to HQ in Denver, CO.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Management, or related field; and progressive, post-Bachelor's experience (5 years following Bachelor's or 3 years with Master's) as a Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Coordinator, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or related occupation, which must include some experience with: Scrum and Agile Frameworks; Portfolio management in a Scaled Agile organization including other areas including IT, DevOps, and Program Management; Product Roadmap and creation of key portfolio metrics, outcomes, and reporting using: Jira and Confluence; Handling large ambiguous Jira Epic data using tools: MS Excel and JQL (Jira Query Language); End-to-end enterprise Web, Mobile Agile software development, and delivery lifecycle using Jira, Wrike, and Lucid Chart; and Lean Agile Portfolio process and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

Referral Bonus - $1,000 (Subject to Employee Referral Policy). Eligible to internal employees only.

Annual base salary gross:  $104,939 - $184,621. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
