Meet the team:

The kitting team for Dexcom is a dynamic work environment where the finalized process of the entire production process gets closed. The Manufacturing Associate 2 position is for the G7 Development within Dexcom. This role will provide a first-hand experience with operating a variety of developmental manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the development and production of the company's current generation of products and processes.

Where you come in:

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations to FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documents meet quality standards outlined in Dexcom's corporate process documents.
  • You will routinely spot check product to ensure quality levels are maintained throughout manufacturing step processes, as well as seeing to the completion of all required reporting.
  • You will be responsible for the direct the day-to-day oversight and planning of work for the manufacturing operations ensuring it aligns with the agreed upon production plans and yields goals for the designated area of production.
  • Assist supervisor/manager to plan and schedule resources and equipment.
  • Interact with cross-functional departments, such as Production, Engineering, and R&D, to resolve issues associated with quality, equipment, manufacturing systems, etc.
  • Monitors equipment performance, ensuring maintenance and calibration are completed on-time, as well as makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations, and alignments.
  • Act as liaison between operator and supervisor/manager.
  • Assist supervisor/manager to conduct and document training and see to the overall development of team, demonstrating operations as needed.
  • You will routinely inspect the work of operators and provide additional training as required to ensure high levels of competency and understanding throughout the team.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong knowledge of technical and functional principles and ability to teach others

Experience and Education
  • Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Language Skills (US only):

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands (US only):

Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.

Work Environment (US only):
