This position can be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift position - Monday-Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm, 1:30pm-10:00pm or 9:30 PM-6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Manufacturing Supervisor to support the Blending Department to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. We are looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring team compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain product quality and sanitation standards
  • Optimize operational efficiencies to support the blending and production
  • Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy), anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

We are seeking a candidate based in City of Industry, CA.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Deliver effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
  • Incorporates Productivity, Yield Loss, TPM and Innovation initiatives into Manufacturing strategic plan
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for frontline hourly personnel
  • Develops training and organization capability assessments to support business initiatives
  • Support cross-functional strategic plans as needed through implementation and execution
  • Regular presence on the plant floor
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
  • Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years supervising in food and beverage manufacturing
  • This role requires off-shift and/or weekend work
  • This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, supply chain, or similar field
  • Experience developing/coaching hourly staff preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

    • Expected salary range is $80,000 to $90,000
    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% paid out annually
    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
