Overview
What You'll Do:
- Assist with organization: build shelving, create boards and signage, label items, move items.
- Assist with 5S implementation and upkeep.
- Assist with process recording and updates: Working with the Manufacturing Engineers and employees on the floor create processes, edit processes, gather data, print paperwork as needed.
- Assist with Skills Lab projects.
Intern Key Deliverables:
Systems needs processes written and available processes updated and rewritten.
Systems also has a need for improved organization. Having people to focus on organization will assist in accomplishing the goal in a timely manner.
With the new Skills Lab built, there will be processes, documentation and materials that will need to be created.
The following objective supports these needs: Create a cost-effective data driven people function that provides world class employee experience using technology as the foundation.
Successful outcomes will include new and improved processes which will facilitate better training and fewer mistakes made in production. Clear and consistent processes may also improve overall output numbers. Organized storage will reduce the time it takes to get needed parts and tools and reduce wasted space in the Cleanroom.
What You'll Bring:
- Matriculation to a degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing or Robotics.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Detail orientated.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
