Reports to:  Director, Education Speakers Bureau & Partnerships

Location: Remote – Anywhere in the US

 

Job Summary

The primary role of the Marketing Coordinator is to support the conference, sponsorship, and speakers bureau functions for FranklinCovey’s Education Division. This position will be responsible for supporting the conference and sponsorship team on the Marketo and Salesforce platforms, integrating the conference and sponsorship strategy with the social media strategy under the direction of the social media manager, and contributing to the speakers bureau team.  The role will require strong communications skills, attention to accuracy and detail, and the ability to build and follow systems and processes. 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Create Marketo programs and Salesforce Campaigns for conference, sponsorship, and speakers bureau-related activities. 
  • Manage social media and newsletter/article aspects of conference and sponsorship agreements. 
  • Manage the Change Starts Here podcast newsletter build.
  • Manage the FranklinCovey Education speakers bureau request process.
  • Write copy for webpages, ads, and other conference or sponsorship-related marketing collateral
  • Support speakers bureau opportunity fulfillment, including logistics, resource creation, and post-opportunity wrap-up.
  • Optimize speakers bureau and sponsorship promotion on websites and social media. 
  • Support content-creation functions on the marketing team to create assets for conference or sponsorship opportunities and the broader demand generation function as applicable. 
  • Willing to assist in a variety of projects and roles to ensure overall success of the marketing team


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing field or related role; part-time work or internships acceptable.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with event planning, management, or related logistics; part-time work or internships acceptable. 
  • Experience in the K-12 education sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Marketo, and/or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management and planning skills and the ability to prioritize with minimal oversight in our collaborative, supportive team environment.  
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible within a constantly evolving education landscape.
  • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly.
