Position Summary

We are looking for a competent Public Relations (PR) Specialist to take on full responsibility for creating, planning, and executing public relations strategies to maintain and enhance the perception of our company among various internal and external audiences.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding an organization through newspapers, periodicals, television, radio, and social media.
  • Improve the quality of the company's voice via different online and offline channels
  • Ensures public relations goals and strategies are met.
  • Helps maintain a favorable public image for the organization.
  • Suggest effective ways of peaceful resolving any internal or external disputes
  • Conduct research and analyze public opinion
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with key reporters
  • Provides leadership and direction for all phases of creative development work from concept to completion.
  • Studies current trends and technologies to adopt the most effective tools and techniques across all media.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years of Public Relations experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible work hours (may include non-business hours) in support of increased work volumes and to meet critical deadlines across multiple time zones.
  • Technical writing experience (e.g., white papers, articles, case studies) a plus.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • SharePoint experience a plus.

Basic Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail, and superior aptitude for organization and time management; able to manage a large ongoing volume of deliverables.
  • Self-motivated with an adaptable, positive attitude; able to function effectively in a fast-paced, high intensity, deadline-driven environment.
  • Outstanding team-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.

Travel:
