Material Handling/Maintenance Coordinator Summary

The Material Handling/Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for issuing, sawing, and staging raw material, assisting in shipping and receiving, and packaging as needed. This position involves routine dimensional and visual inspection of material and parts coming in and out of shipping.
Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and ground
  • Perform preventative maintenance per schedule
  • Back up the janitor role
  • Stage material for production
  • Inspect raw material with XRF analyzer
  • Process returned material
  • Operate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales and other moving equipment
  • Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
  • Accurately records and reports hours worked
  • Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
  • Complete all other work duties as assigned
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications

Machine Maintenance Technician Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents
  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
